I am now switching to mags that are .150'' longer than what I had, as they now protrude a bit more from the magwell.
I do not have a box to test if the pistol still fits the box. At my last lvl3 in Sharon, they seemed to be using a metal box, which can be precisely made by a machinist around here.

A handgun in its ready condition (see Section 8.1), but unloaded and with an empty magazine inserted, must fit
wholly within the confines of a box which has internal dimensions of 225 mm x 150 mm x 45 mm (tolerance of
+1 mm, -0 mm). Note that all magazines must comply.
At official matches, is the box 225mm x 150mm x 45mm , or is it more like 225.9mm x 150.9mm x 45.9mm , as they seem to have a +1mm tolerance.
