I always enjoy seeing cool innovations in the AR market, and nowadays on this forum I guess I'm going to have to "clarify" that this was just a FYI, I'm not saying it's better or worse, although I'm sure those comments will appear regardless. Oh ya and it's $200 bucks, and don't ask if it's "worth it" ? it may be to some. Thanks in advance.

That's nifty, I always hated the AR charging handle... it's such a stupid thing to me. At one point I had considered modifying one of my uppers to a side charger, it just makes more sense. I like that this is a bolt-on affair, though it does look a tad bulky.

Attach it to the gas key, and the handle will cycle with the BCG every time you fire the gun. It has to be left unattached

Doesn't look like I can use it with a 512 and buis. An Acog and a buis shoudl fit.

I kind of like it.

Good point on adding weight tho.

That was my thinking. There's a lot more parts to potentially break over a simple charging handle that's made up of just 4 parts.

That's what a lot of people think when something like this comes up.

I guess it would all boil down to application and personal preference.

I wouldn't mind playing with one of these, but realistically, throw a BCM large latch in there and call it a day.

or Rainier Arms Raptor, I honestly I haven't touched a better AR charging handle than the raptors.

It's close to your face and would definitely be a visual distraction at the very least. On most semi's the bolt handle is on the far side of the gun so the bolt cycling doesn't present a distraction
