Hey all looking for a target barrel for a 10/22 build. Dlask, green mountain..etc what would some of you guys recommend?

Kidd is an awsome barrel, love mine. If you want cheaper then you can go with the Green Mountain so far mine seems to shoot well and the finish was good not great (not an overly bright bluing) in my opinion. YMMV

GM, kidd, and dlask all use the same blanks. kidd has the slightly better target chamber. GM and dlask are about the same. cant go wrong with any of them really. kidd will be the most expensive if you can find the one you want.

How do you like it? It's kinda hard finding real review on them

Ya, I ordered the 12" one. The chamber is pretty tight and was finnicky with feeding for the first few hundred rounds or so, but now it feeds great. I haven't really pushed it in terms of accuracy. I have shot it out to 100m off a bipod with a 4x leapers scope. It made a 6" group out of the 25 rds I sent down at a pretty quick shooting speed. I'm sure I could get it to group better if I took my time with it.

Shortie, I'll just have bite the bullet and order something. I'll make a few calls and see what people have in stock.. Thanks man!

Just did a build with a tactical solutions X ring barrel, Aluminum based, so far its been very good to me but that's only been one range trip with a few hundred round, Nice and light and easy to maneuver. But I also thing the 10/22 VLEH deal from IRG looks very appetizing

Why would you go with a heavy barrel, when it appears you're not overly concerned about accuracy?

I'm kinda of at a stand still, I'm not sure sure if I want to spend the extra coin on the ruger or just save a bit more and get a ns522 or a cz452/5. Dang it! First world problems eh! I have my .223 get some work done, so I out my mk4 4.5x14 on the ruger. I think I opened a while another beast! It's a blast shooting it!

To be honest, I have it set up pretty good now, the only thing I haven't changed out is the barrel and to be honest it shoots pretty well for factory. I've yet put it to paper but I think i have a chance to do that this week. I really wanna get a cz tho! Might just buck
Up and get one..
