Jard semi , 3wks away.

I'm interested, especially since they say it's DI, but give me a break down video or something. I'd like to see how it operates. Curious how long they've been working on it, because it seems to have come out of nowhere, and already NR status.

Some say it's ugly. I don't think it's ugly, just simple looking, basic really.

Maybe send a sample to one of the big youtube reviewers?

View attachment 19761I think it's hard for them to compete in the AR market , in the US,as there are already a ton of reputable manufacturers. I think they know of the opportunities here. Anyway , here's a pic of an email, sent to me today.

That line where it's stated they SHOULD be reliable scares me. I would think that they would her fired thousands of rounds down range after having made all changes so they could be no doubt that the rifle in it's final form is very reliable. Just having a similar design and scale as an AR does not a reliable rifle make. It really feels like the first ten or twenty customers will be this companies guinea pigs when it comes to clarifying if this rifle is actually reliable.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for a .223 semi. rifle being NR that has similar qualities to an AR, but any firearm must first and foremost be reliable if it's to be considered a decent product worthy of purchasing.

*apologies for a useless bump*

Any more news on this dubious hunk of metal? If the message in the OP is to be believed, the rifles should be in-country by now, no?

The last conversation I had with dean , at jard , was just before Christmas . Was told there was issue with rifles and they had to come back for a minor change. I've kinda lost interest now that I have RPAL . I could give him a call Monday , if anybody is interested in what's happening,

Why not send the link and have him contact CGN Admin to sign on as a business member? If he truly is interested in breaking into the Canadian market CGN would certainly be of help for that.

1) he can get feedback on demand much like M14.ca is doing with the T97 upper & lower projects
2) he can learn a lot about the firearms "issues" in Canada
3) get instant exposure to 120k+ firearm enthusiast
4) organize a group buy / presale of the product once mods are done to the consumer's liking

Just my $0.02

You already know what the answer is to your question.

$$$$$$$$

I'm certainly interested.

No use showing a rifle designed for Canada at the American Shot Show. This rifle if it does exist would never sell in the United States. Jard might be there. But I highly doubt they will be showing this rifle.
It's made for the canadian market only,it exists, Extreme and Jo Brooks are the retailers ,who'll be selling these. A different company in canada will handle warranty ( accuracy plus or something of that nature.) They are also sending a frt for the 17 hmr NR ,that's on there website ( J17?). They had an issue with ejection on one of the rifles and wanted to make sure it's 100% reliable, so they're making minor adjustment. Anybody is free to call them, he (Dean) don't mind chatting about his rifles and there plans.

It could have potential but I will definitely wait a couple years before shelling out 1400$ for it, way to many unknowns and just doesn't seem very legit yet.
