Well I took the gun out today to see how she ran, I really like how it shoots, only sighted it in with a simple micro dot sight to about 50 yards. I plan to get something more suited to it in the next week or so and sight it in further, will record groupings and such then. I used both a 5/30 promag and the factory 5 rounder it comes with and shot 55grain american eagle .223rem. Had a few issues, 3 failures to eject in 60 shots aswell 3rd shot in, it jammed up, rotating portion of the bolt seemed to have gotten caught up. Took a bit of negotiating but got her to pull back and the shell just shot out fine, didn't have any deformed marks on the cartridge. Shot great after that with the exception of the promag, it doesn't seem to sit high enough in the mag well, the bolt catch doesn't consistantly hold open on last shot with the promag, also missed to feed the next round a handful of times. The mag that is provided with the rifle did not skip a beat. I am intrigued about the issue mentioned above, will be calling Wanstalls tuesday to get some information on it.
Take down is super simple, push lower takedown pin and the trigger assembly drops out. Push the upper take down pin with rear spring plate held by your finger, recoil springs come out the back of reciever, bolt just drops out bottom of receiver after that. Only takes a minute or so, haven't taken apart the bolt or barrel yet though.
