Shorten PAL Approval Times

Yes. You can fax the result. No problem. I've been waiting for my report for 3 weeks already. No sign of it. What about you?

Thanks for that.
I just did the CFSC last weekend and challenged the CRFSC on Monday. I know the examiner I challenged with wasn't going to be sending the results in until today as he had another booked for the challenge yesterday. Hope they are considered to have squeaked in before C-42.

finally, they received my application mar 20-15. tried of waiting and followed the advice on this forum and asked to talk to cfo cause it has been in there hands for the last 4 weeks. license issued finally with the phone call.
unreal almost 90 days

I am slightly ahead of yours , and waiting still..
But now I am calling them twice a week lol

To Ontario applicants that sent their applications in without the safety course information, is it possible to have you and your references interviewed prior to them reviving the Safety course papers?

Also, is the reference number just the application number?

Doubtful the timing would allow that. They are sitting on your application for 28 days no matter what. In that 28 days, you should have had your test results come back to you stamped by the CFO. Call up the CFC, tell them you now have your test results and want to fax them in. They will give you the fax number and make sure you put the reference number on the cover page. Call back in a couple of days and make sure they received the fax and ask if there's any other information they need. I don't imagine they would go ahead with interviews if anything is missing from the application, so that would happen a few days or weeks after you have confirmed they have everything they need.

Alright thanks for the advice. I got my non-restricted papers back a few days ago hopefully I get my papers for my restricted any day now.

Congratulations! Do you know if calling the CFO is a regular thing people do? I am in Ontario, my understanding was that after you mail your stamped results to CFP/RCMP in Miramichi, you do a reference call and the licence is issued.

I'm confused, are we talking about the provincial CFO or the federal CFP/RCMP? I've called the CFP number many times and have gotten through the reference stage, they are now waiting another 2 weeks apparently to scan my photo. But I'm not sure if I need to call the Ontario CFO, please advise.
