I have a burris on my fnx45 tac 2moa nice dot. Considering the delta for my next project
Do you find the 2moa dot to be a quick pick-up when you look through the sight? My only experience is with my Aimpoint T1 and I have to say that I find the small dot hard to find sometimes, especially outside.
I just picked up a 5 inch CORE at Calgary Shooting Centre for $899. Given the current Canadian dollar, that's not to bad. They are very hard to find and I don't recall seeing any available in the 4.25" length in recent memory anywhere in Canada. I think TSE has one of the 4.25" Performance Center versions in .40 for $1099 right now though.
I've had M&Ps in both lengths and I can say from experience that the 5" ones do shoot a bit smoother than their shorter brothers. With the popularity of the long slide version, there are plenty of quality holster choices out there as well. I really don;t see a downside to the longer version; other than the shorter one looks a bit cooler.but to each, his own. Good luck in your quest!
