The razor dominated that market, the PST is a solid unit, and the strike eagle is somewhere in between with mag and decent optics for less cost.
I think its worth waiting.
I don't think you need others to help you. Find what matters most to you, look at the options, consider everything and make a decision.
Well I decided not to wait and got a Sightron STAC 1-7x. A little more then what I would of paid for the Vortex, but such nice glass!
There's a optisan 1x6x24 for a touch over $600. Reviews are good but the reticle is a new design and seems a bit crowded. The glass is made in Japan but assembled in China, I believe .So I'm stuck deciding if I should wait for the vortex strike eagle 1-6 or to go with another product. What are your opinions on this? I'm looking for something around that price range.
Thanks guys

I doubt the Strike Eagle will be as good quality as the PST. There is no way Vortex will sell a 1-6 scope for the same price (or actually lower) than the PST 1-4.
It will be a good scope for the money, I seriously doubt it will be better than the PST
From what I understand it's basically Diamondback quality glass/internals.

For those that have held it, will the small cross hair in the middle be large enough for more precise aiming at 100 yard and beyond? I have a Millett DMS right now and with the dot in the middle and the cross hair way out, it is hard to get a precise shot when working on accurate loads at 100 yards.
I take it that's a bad thing?
