Wish it was in my budget.
I'm looking to anneal a couple hundred Lake City brass. If anyone in the SWO East / GTA West could give me a hand, I'd throw something in to make it worth your while. Otherwise, torch time here I come.

Induction heating has been used for welding (pre-heat and post-heat) for a while, so the technology is established.
Now we just need a cheap Chinese version for under $50. :)

first time I went to the web site it said add to cart, so I did. Second time I went to the website it said out of stock now taking pre-orders.........I think I may have just gotten really really lucky on the timing of that one.........

I talked to someone there today. He said they're about 2-3 weeks behind at the absolute worst.

I figure for $450 US ($600 CAN), I'll give it a try. I have way more than $600 CAN invested in my brass that I need to anneal.

Doesn't take much to screw up a batch of brass with a torch head adjusted a bit too close or a bit too hot.

they need to combine this device with an automatic feeder. even if it gets the brass perfectly annealed i would still opt for the old school flame annealing purely for the automated machines. to hell with sitting there doing them one by one....

the unit I got is the manual case feed. if you watch the video you'll see that the auto feed is a mute point
