Looking for Some Input

one thing tho. when i click into a product from the product list, then i click return to go back to previous page with all the products listed. it returns to the first page. this is very frustrating because i'd have to re-click to the page # i was previously on.
Also i cannot right click on a product and open in new tab to view it separately.
I'll second that.

THIS! Plus, going back will remove any filter you have on. Very frustrating.

For firearm accessories, it would be easier to shop by type of rifles for example. Yesterday, I was looking at what you had as stocks for ARs......I had to go through 90 different stocks unrelated to what I was looking for, for the most part. (I do know some of the manufacturers on the left sidebar, but some I may not know)

The biggest frustration in surfing your new site was that after I chose the Category / Sub category / Brand / Item......when I pressed the back button of the browser I landed on the Sub category page instead of the Brand, so I had to press the Brand again to see a second item.........that was a bit strange to me!

I miss the old manufacturer's selection (filters)during of search of pretty much anything, part, accessory, gun etc. On the old site after initial category selection I was able to click on a mfg. and go straight to what I was looking for and it worked. This new site does not have this system and it forces me to scroll though several pages of parts/accessories I don't care about before I get to what I'm looking for.
Thanks

(FRAUD ALERT) integration. saves us a lot of time trying to register, shipping details etc.

Perhaps you should check into (FRAUD ALERT)s terms of use, they're not compatible with a firearms business, or firearms enthusiasts for that matter. Don't do business with anti's, that's feeding the mouth that bites your hand. Good on Grumpy for knowing this.

Do whatever you can to make it not so slow anymore. Or double charge people's credit cards

Your older website was good!

The website doesn't double charge anyone's card. The payment process is taken manually after the transaction is completed. The payment is taken by a member of the web staff. A card amount can be verified with the card company more than once by double clicking but that doesn't charge your card or take money off of it.

Get rid of the mobile site and make it desktop only. Mobile sites blow. This is coming from a young adult.

So from a purely technical point of view, you have a LOT of elements on your front page loading. There are 115 requests, and a whole heap of them are external requests. What this translates into is slow load times, and over all poor customer experience.

For example - your site takes ~18 seconds to fully load:

As you can see in the following screenshots - there are a TON of Javascript and external calls - java tuning can help with a lot of that but having that many external calls will leave you at the mercy of things that are out of your control.

What you are seeing on the timeline portion of things is the loadtimes in the browser - anything over a few milliseconds is considered quite slow, and you have a number of resources that are multiple seconds to load:

From the backend server-side of things - I am not sure what the specs are for webservers or db servers, but there could be benefits in throwing more CPU/RAM at them just to have more horsepower.

Price anything you buy in US$ sell it to us in US$. Let us do our own conversions and sourceing US funds. Everytime I hear 25% this, 25% that, My blood starts to boil!!! Seems to work for the other guy...

I just don't go there anymore.

For years and years Wolverine website was one of my regular stops to browse products. I can't browse anymore. I have to specifically click 1 then 2 then 3 and do that all over again.

I'd prefer to see the old format/template back, or at least an ability to browse products.

Thanks.

please don't! also, echoing the earlier post about the mobile version, much prefer the desktop version on my mobile phone.

You should make it chrome lined.

Eh, I'm no website designer, but I find it to be rather 'busy', there's a lot of stuff with little product displayed at once.

And just playing around, why can't I just click on firearms - Rifles without having to look at every subcategory. Seems it's too geared for finding something very specific, not so easy to just browse.
