Canadian Tire asked to pull all Savage rifles from the shelves

ONE store's knee jerk reaction. Not a corporate issued demand.

Remove the decals all you want, just dont turn it over and look on the butt of the grip! :runaway:

To prove a point we should all find a logo from that CT that we find offensively and email the store about it and make phone calls and demand it gets removed. Post the correspondence I'm the thread lol

why is this person petitioning only Canadian tire? why do they not take up their displeasure with the rifles manufacturer instead?

even if Canadian tire stops selling savage, according to her, the rifles manufacturer will still be disrespecting her heritage.........

Low hanging fruit.

These types of foolish complaints will only stop when the word 'NO" is consistently used. People only make these frivolous complaints because they know they will be successful.

there is a easy way t fix this ..... maybe even with a oic from the government ......

make everyone in Canada either " Canadian " or " non Canadian" ....

and then withdrawal all funding that formerly went to groups referenced as native or aboriginal ....... OR make the same exact same funding available to everyone .

also make everyone pay the same amount in taxes ( someone has to foot the bill for all the new funding :D ) , and apply the law to everyone in a similar manner .

that would make way to much sense to implement, and the job loss would be huge

A few years ago, the issue of restoring the statue in front of city hall - a local soldier killed during the Red River Rebellion - was objected to by non-natives, claiming it racist to Métis.

The local Métis chief stated it was not offensive in the slightest.
