Non-Restricted ACR - Barrels - Start of Aug Update.

Anyone have an update for today? If their sticking with their timeline and the barrels were being turned "right now" then they should be out this week...

I've tried calling a few times today and keep getting put to voicemail.

Their 2 month window has come and gone, I got invoiced May 27th and that was a week or two after the initial pre-sale opened up. It's going to have been 4 months before we see the rifles I assume. I'm really glad I didn't try and jump the gun(pun totally Intended) and get a restricted version hoping to see it sooner cause that obviously wouldn't have gotten me any further.

sad how a 2 min update here would do so much for their customers....and yet noone bothers.... even though you would think its better than having so many people calling for updates..

Well a week ago he had said nothing has changed from the update in this thread so I would think they have the barrels and are fitting and test firing and then have to travel to canada

I spoke to one of their salesmen a few minutes ago. The guy who is handling the ACR purchase is out of the office for the next couple of days. This guy said they have been shipped from the US and they expect to have them this week and expect to ship them out to us Friday or Monday.

Two weeks ago I was told the same thing, at that point the barrels had not been switched over yet at the us factory.

Just got off the phone with Liam, they say the rifles are being shipped up right now and are completed. Just waiting to make it over the border then up to Arms east, then shipping info will go out and MAYBE we might have the rifles in early September... Ughhhhhh hopefully nothing fux up from here on out so I can at least shoot the damn thing before winter hits.

They were supposed to be here by September.... ah well nothing we can do! They should be offering something for the huge delay.... wonder if their just saying stuff that we want to hear, I would hope not though :(

Sounds like alot of you guys are hitting the relapse. If you would have come to the support group meeting friday you would be in better shape. Call your sponsor!!!

Yeah like you say "it's in the mail" cause then the responsibility is off them until it shows up.

when I ordered my rifle I was told 4-6 weeks(this was back in May) then after a month I was told there was a summer shut down at the chroming facility, then the barrel mfr got a more important order that pushed us back to the end of the line.

I feel like when there was a major purchase(Arms east contracting these barrels to be made which I'm sure was no cheap bill or capital to fork out) there would have been a schedule to adhere to. Obviously something of this magnitude isn't just Armeast calling up the local barrel shack and being like "hey, make us some barrels and let us know when they are done"

That being said, AE would have been aware of the shutdown and explained to its customers accordingly before ordering, not being told oh... A couple weeks they will be done. I know the barrel mfr pushing us back because of a larger order is understandable and out of there hands.
