"You invade pretty much every optics post citing Sightron as the "best" and it just happens to be the only brand you sell. Your excuse is always that you haven't found a brand as good to sell yet."
Nail meets head.
You bring Sightron into, or take a negative angle on other brands, in many threads, uninvited. Including this one of course, which was a simple request for information about Leica scopes. And by information, most tactful forumites would chime in if they had meaningful, extensive experience with a product...
Here is a classic example:
The OP asked: "Nightforce vs Schmidt and Bender vs Vortex vs US Optics"
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...s-Vortex-vs-US-Optics?p=11641668#post11641668
Here are some Coles Notes...
You start out with:
"At the high end of the optics market, it is features and details that really decide "good or not". Add the Sightron SIII and SVSS to your list of options.
I have reviews of the SVSS against the top tier competition high mags scopes... Might prove helpful.
When I get a moment, I will publish my thoughts on the newest Vortex Razor... the Sightrons are better."
The OP didn't ask about Sightron, but you tell him to add it to his options, then give a one-liner to assess and eliminate the Vortex Razor...
Then:
"PS for the Vortex Razor gen 2, my suggestion is to take a close look at the scope you want to buy and ensure that it will work properly through its entire range of operation. The brand new in the box scope I had for a review failed optically and was sent back.... YMMV.
The 2 USO scopes, sent by USO, for me to review had so many problems, the review never happened. But that was a few years ago so hopefully, things have improved. "
So you received not one, but two "wonky" USO scopes, and a Vortex Razor Gen 2 that must have been QC'd at 4:59 pm on a Friday before the long-weekend and was likewise "wonky" as well. This is in addition to the "wonky" Leica and "wonky" Swarovski that you've also mentioned.
And you feign shock and chagrin over the "push-back"?
No one is offended by your experience or enthusiasm. But don't do those, and your loyal customers a disservice by angling your commentaries in such a biased manner.
I'm sure you might better appreciate this if other dealers employed the same tactics with the brands that you conduct business with.
