Where Are The Buyers?

Economy is a factor. Prices seem to be higher in ee as well these days, there is a used p320 for sale on ee that you could buy for 50 cheaper right now from Reliable. How does that make any kinda sense.

Good deals are far and few. I bought a CX4 storm for $500 and that was a great deal. Other items are used and more than what I can find for new. The rationale seems to be that new stock with the dollar is 30% more, so they up their used price based on what new stock will be. Which is more than what they paid new. Sorry but for a used item it better be more than just the tax and shipping or I'll wait for a sale and buy new. Less risk of getting someone else's problem or a product that doesn't live up to the advertisement. The other thing I'm seeing are people parting out black rifles for more than the gun is worth. A few people out there hoping to make some bucks on the sales. Which I can understand for unique or hard to find items. But most of these items are in stock at numerous stores. I don't gripe about it etc. I just move on an don't buy. Seems others are doing the same thing.

Like i say often, if the market put you at disanvantage, price wise, the good thing to do is keep you stuff for better days...
This is a lot like real estate, when you get offered only % of the value, you just put it on the back burner...

You cant force your price in, the market will accept your price and make both partys happy...

The right period always show up eventually... JP.

You are right, i remember buying an AR in january 2013, just about damn impossible to find
On the EE they were actually selling for same price as new if not more and they were moving fast.

The EE has been rather weak the last month or so IMHO.
Having enough scratch isn't the issue, there just hasn't been much to generate an itch...

Less disposable income, maybe some jitters about the upcoming election.
Items priced the same or more than new, plus added costs of shipping doesn't make economic sense.
IMHO

Prices are generally nuts , I look every other day or so and am looking for a specific item, there are 3 on the EE now, all more than a new one at my local shop.

Add shipping and insurance and a gamble that your not going to get scammed and there's no point in a private sale.

People who think I should buy there used crap for several hundred dollars off of new on a 3000$ item or save yourself the taxes are retarded I'm on here to buy hard to find stuff or something that is a great deal. You are always at risk sending your money to someone else online, I just got my first raw deal and it will take many many good deals/low ball offers being accepted before I get back to even. My seller/trade wasn't bad enough to fight over but you do not expect a 5300$ rifle to come rusty and with mismatched hardware, also the traded rifle from me is being sold as new even though he is at least the 4th owner. Moral of the story you should be grateful for every honest cash offer you get and should not expect people to pay top dollar when they are taking a chance on your used unknown to them rifle, I paid every cent that that rifle would have been worth new and will not ever make that mistake on here again so I guess I am a low baller since I find your save the taxes used rifle insulting.

Thanks to the majority of the highballer sellers asking for retail most reasonable buyers are lowballers that expect 25% off retail to deal with the hassle and risk of buying used.

The idiot retail price sellers has conditioned the buyer to negotiate with a high percentage off offer.

Buying isn't easy either, have bumped my WTB ads several times plus waiting for several new Ruger and Tikka firearms.
