Yeah, I thought all gen2 Pmags would fit but the last two I bought don't. I don't have an ar15 or any other gun the takes those mags so they are basically just sitting there.
Where does one send a T97 in for repair? I've had it less than a year and assume it's still under some sort of 1 year warranty. Mine doesn't chamber rounds anymore. They fit half way in and just stop as if something is blocking the bolt from pushing them all the way in. They even feed crooked now, pushing the bullet into the casing. Tried a bunch of different mags this time, and the same thing happens.
What part of the mags were you grinding down? The spine part on the back?
Any news on this?
I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen any photos of it here yet. Reliable Gun has had them for a while now, and it looks like they even had a few in FDE.
I bought it online, out of province. I am pleading ignorance on this, but I assumed there were gunsmiths licensed to work on certain brand firearms under (and not under) warranty, like there are for cars? First time I've ever needed to get a firearm "looked at".
can anyone tell me how the paddle mag release will work?? I have 2 type 97's and its really the only thing i dont like about them. IM still on the fence about ordering a lower yet. how is everyone liking them so far?
Its rather hard to reload for it as the gun beats the hell out of brass. Even on the lowest gas setting mine puts a rather dent in the side of the brass when ejecting.
Mine does the same. If im trying to shoot somewhat accurately I'll just turn the gas off completely.
Anyone reload for this beast?
I tried reloading some 75gr Hornady bthp. Was accurate but no better than factory Hornady ammo
What kind of accuracy were you getting?
I got a lucky 1moa group. Average probably 1-5-2.0 moa
