Here is an original Marlin 1893 deluxe, 38-55, checkered stocks and half octagon barrel with color case-hardened receiver. It was shipped in 1895 and is still in beautiful condition. It isn't mine .... I just picked it up for another CGN member. He said to go ahead and see what it will do, so below the photo is another photo of a 5-shot group at 100 yards with .381 cast bullets and 17 grains of 5744 for just over 1,300 fps.

Nice Marlin .38/55! Real pretty rifle.

Well it's been a while since I posted on this thread but pulled out a gun that qualifies for a lever gun, well sort of, does have a lever on it's side. This one is a Remington Hepburn in .40- 2 1/2 " caliber with a 30" octagon barrel. The sights are the correct code for this rifle. The rifle as you can see by the photos is in very nice condition with a bright shinny bore. Remington only produce about 10,000 of these guns under the Hepburn patent from 1879 to 1908. This gun has a 3 digit serial number making it produced in the early 1800s. The photo I found is of an Old Gal with a Hepburn very similar to mine even with the Lyman tang sight.

1959 Winchester Model 94. I can't see the open sights anymore so I'm gonna try one of these Burris Fastfire 3 sights.

Sweet Mary , thats a purty 94!!! I have one from the sixties and I put an XS rail with a Bushnel red dot on it. Its awesome but not in the looks department!

After 30 years of pestering my oldest brother he finally relented a few months ago and gave me this old beauty.
A pic of my late Dad's 1922 model 94 in 32 Special. Wood recently refinished. Will update with a better pic down the road.
