Hunter shot

I know I dont know/have the details, but, Accident or not, that guy is an idiot. He needs to get out of shooting sports altogether, & maybe some jail time!

There are those individuals with a faulty chromosome who think it perfectly acceptable to shoot at sounds. This idiots should be banned for owning, possessing, using or in the vicinity where firearms are likely to be present and/or used!

At least here my major worry is all the damn bears. They may try to eat me, but they dont shoot back.

It's not an unreasonable concern during the controlled shotgun hunt in Ontario. Way too many idiots from neighbouring cities in the bush at this time of year. Fortunately the season is short.

+1 Unfortunately ,these idiots are seldom held accountable, instead all hunters are made to appear as being irresponsible idiots.

I agree it is a Liberal slant in the article, but seriously one idiot just shot his buddy in this property owners property. I'd be worried as well.
 
Aside from my usual ER nurse reaction ("People Are Stupid"), my question is why someone from Timmins came down to Brantford area to hunt. I would've expected the opposite direction to be true.
 
Why not come down south to hunt deer .I can come up with many reasons. First mayby he has family with land down here .he may own land here himself.he could have a great group of friends that he enjoys hunting with.and just mayby he enjoys shotgun hunting were thete are a lot of deer .I know we have a ton more deer down here then at the camp o go to in bancroft. So really there are many reasons why. Getting shot has nothing to do with were he was hunting could have happened any were ...Dutch

Plus, southern Ontario grain fed deer taste a lot better than the ones munching on twigs and needles up north. I have eaten both, I know.

Same reason people from Southern Ontario go way up north to hunt moose. You go where the game is. Not many deer in the Timmins area if I'm not mistaken.

They have big deer around Timmins, the size of Moose I am told.:p
