Bigfoot ... ???

Agreed.... but a good comparison nonetheless..... faith vs. evidence......

Some also believe the amount of "circumstantial" evidence amounts to enough to believe..... I choose not to believe or not believe but only to open myself to the possibility that they may exist.... we have discovered many species throughout the world that were thought to be non existant or extinct.... or that we never knew existed....

So do you believe bigfoot "does" exist or bigfoot "may" exist.

trying to raise funds for the very expensive DNA testing, would you like to donate?

One of the most prestigious labs on the planet , featured in many Discovery Channel and National Geographic programs is the Paleo DNA Lab at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay . Go to their website . The fee schedule ranges from $250.00 to $750.00 and as you'll see on their schedule they do species testing comparing any sample against any species on the planet so if you have Bigfoot hair you'll know conclusively within two weeks . I had my maternal DNA (mtDNA) tested to find out which haplogroup i'm from to find that this strand of DNA first showed up about 13,000 years ago and know the original ancestry to within 100 square miles . $250.00 . In the present TV series , America Unearthed , hosted by the geologist from Minnesota , he has driven to the Paleo DNA Lab in Thunder Bay several times to have samples analyzed . The lab does testing for war crimes and testing for individuals , animals , organizations and governments worldwide and the most expensive test is $750.00 .

Umm........that's not expensive at all. That is if you truly believe in the work you are doing and not just wasting everyone's time as your an only child that still sleeps with a teddy bear, sucks there thumb and/or makes claims that his/her's ass couldn't prove in a million years or if they had a million dollars as there too inept at anything of this scale exept trying to defraud the public with silly claims and even less proof nontheless they go on and on and on..............reminds me of the ol gospel preacher on TV. Thanks there Yoda.

Page 41 of this thread and not one female bigfoot picture.

Yes, I have seen Wendy's photoshop picture, but I really don't think that a female bigfoot would be that ugly.

Thank me not....

Your settings changed they should be.... On page two I am....

Much time changing pages you waste.....

There has been tons of evidence that bigfoot exists as well as sightings and hairs that have been found that don't match anything in the DNA database but were definitely primate....

Some proof from a reputable source please. I'd love to change my mind.

If there was actually DNA found that was close to human but not quite, from a reliable source, and closer to human than any other animal, that would be enough proof that I would change my opinion.

Here's what happens when supposed samples are actually tested:

https://www.sciencenews.org/blog/gory-details/finally-some-solid-science-bigfoot

They find a new species of bear...

You are a sceptic... I get it... until someone plops a dead bigfoot on your doorstep or you get humped to death by an excited female, you won't believe it exists.....

Nope... all I need is some DNA from a reputable lab.

If you ever did actually see one you would be the biggest whiner on here if someone just like you called you out......

I thought we were being nice?

He's not the judge in a court of law where his or her question demand answering on his/her timeline scale.

No... but it's hard to imagine why you guys are making such a big deal of out me asking a valid question a second time after being ignored. If he wants to ignore me, that his right, but then I certainly don't feel obligated to answer his questions.

Nobody is obligated to satisfy his/her questions.....if I6s1 doesn't like the thread, maybe its time to move on and not wreck it for others.

It's not that I don't like the thread, it's that I don't like the dishonest claims that a person is making.

Just to put things into perspective, 84% of the worlds population have faith in one or another type of God.

Wheres the hair or DNA samples to confirm a deity, yet the vast majority still have Faith.

Most people's deities aren't expected to leave hair and scat samples in the woods.

Now I am dishonest? :(

One day the truth with plop itself down right in front of us.

Take the thread for what it is intended. There are many in the legal section who love black and white argument and debate , hell even I enjoy those type of discussions.

Maybe if some of us prefer absolutes you could participate in the "my rifle shoot __ MOA all day long threads" Much more scientific. A target a projectile and a tape measure , of course you may not want to participate if your projectile is ummm, how shall we say, not able to reach the lands. ;)

No, not really. Just kidding.

It turned out that it was from a known sub-species of brown bear.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Himalayan_brown_bear

OK.... we can go back and forth on this all night dude, and I am 3 hours ahead of you time zone wise, so not willing to.... lol

I don't see where Kelley offered up anything and said it was definitive proof..... it's a fun thread and he is a believer and puts some time into looking.... that's how I see it.....it's fun to read and the idea that it's possible is intriguing and fun.... nothing more or less.....

Also, and not meant as a dig here, wikipedia is about as reliable a source for anything as the national enquirer.... just saying.....

You err on the side of science... I get that... in science, what cannot be proven does not exist until it is proven, hence where you got the religious reference I won't go back to....

it's all in fun... that is the point.... sometimes there is value in the unknown and unproven.... there were no coelecanths, giant squid etc 20 years ago.... but who knows?...

The only thing left to discover on land is subspecies, or at least designating them as such. Deep water exploration has a ways to go, but not on dry land. The only places left out of water that haven't been covered inch by inch are inhospitable by mammals, or anything other than microorganisms really. So, unless Bigfoot is an extremely rare insect, he/it/she doesn't exist in our world.

This is an entertaining thread though, with some very intelligent posters.
