100% Colt/Diemco Enhanced Complete IUR Guns with Colt BCG, $1599.95

Agreed. Sucks for the guys that had to piecemeal their IURs together.

Yep, I pieced one of my rifles together, pretty sure it cost me a lot more than $1599. I got a pretty good deal on my first complete SA20 with green furniture (just wish it was more C7 with the ambi mag release and nasty claw charging handle that they're releasing now, haha!) with my mil discount, so no complaints there. Never going to sell it (for now, lol!) so not concerned with drop in value or whatever. But I jumped on the Colt IUR with mil discount for $944, then picked up a stripped lower for $450 and bought a Colt USA BCG for $250 and LPK and furniture for the lower for I don't even remember. Pretty sure I racked up about $2k to build something close to what's being sold for $1,599.

I'm still very happy with what I have, the rifle performs as people say - awesome. I just wish I could have seen the future at the time, but don't we all :)

For the life of me I don't get it.... Most of the rifles are brought in from the same forges that Colt USA uses... And the parts as well. There may be small changes in the finishing and a barrel you're paying for... But cost analysis will show that buying a replacement Colt barrel is cheaper anyway. Colt Canada has strong Kool-Aid... :HR:

However that is a good price....

The Colt Canada "Kool Aid" is well deserved. Beyond the quality of the barrel, what you are paying for is a basically unparallelled quality control.

Don't worry I'm sure this isn't the last of the "gone forever" "limited production" "gone forever" "last chance" colt Canada iur package we will see. And yes great price, kind of a kick in the nuts for everyone that bought before lol

Ya there are a lot of places that use cerro forge parts.

But the final assembly, and production of the barrels are all different. There are over 200 differences between the Colt Defense M4, and the Colt Canada C8.

Similar, but different.

Hybrid in what sense?

Well, they were't F/A BCGs, but they weren't the typical semi-auto ones either. Someone described them as a hybrid:

I'm using the term from memory.....and my memory is a lot like swiss cheese - full of holes, so maybe they called it something else. I thought it was referred to as hybrid. For me, it's not a huge deal, and definitely not a deal breaker, but having a f/a bcg seems to be very important to some. Again, I was just curious.

Only 150 to all of O'Dell's retailers.

Prediction that individual BCG and charging handles are next.

Just a guess.

I'll make a real leap and guess the 11.5 will follow that. No SA left, no IUR left. The lowers are drying up. Only logical in the historical progression of things.

I'm still holding my breath for their IUR DMR:

But I agree, I'm thinking an 11.5 will be available soon. The aftermarket is already sort of messing with the current IURs and making SBRs out of them.
