The SEALS pick the Glock 19. (merged)

It seems odd they would make a press release or article over something like this. JTF2 adopts lots of different pistol models and calibers but I guess they are not buying in nearly the same quantities when it's just off the shelf.

Well well, now I have the former SEAL gun and the current. Does that make me a double operator?

Also, good call. Love my P226, but for a sidearm, might as well shed some weight.

And Delta uses the Glock also. Noticing a trend here? May have something to do with reliability in the sandbox.

If you shoot then both at the same time, it makes you THE operator !!

Now...

Must resist doing this...

Damn !! :p

CSOR still runs with the SIG 226 AFAIK. Saw TV special of them training folks in Mali of all places. Might have been an old show sent out by Trudeau and Co to remind us of our long heritage in training other folks soldiers. They all seemed ti have the 226 in their holsters.

There was some talk for a little while about CSOR switching to the MP9 but nothing seems to have panned out.

May happen if the RCMP move to the M&P 9MM for the general officers. I can't see the Liberals outfitting the RCMP with SIG 226's for the street Constables. But who knows Trudeau is handing out money like it is candy. Time he is done CSOR maybe armed with flowers and Grade 1 readers for their students.

Take Care

If I recall correctly, SAS uses the 226 as well.
