Saskatoon Inn cancels African Hunting Show

I see you are missing the wild and uninhibited days, where you and your son lean on round hay bales and shoot deer with your scoped rifles... high horse indeed.
 
To me what did we expect. Not like we didnot know this was coming or something worse after a fellow hunter shoots Old Cecil the lion and the news coverage that got
More than anti's pissed off at that act that is for sure and this is a direct result
 
This is going south... Quick, someone post a picture with their deer or moose posed to exaggerate the animal's size that they have posted in every thread where opportunity presented itself!.....
 
What would make anyone think that when the anti's are finished with Africa, they won't start here probably with bears and then work their way down to deer finally. I work in the African hunting industry and as Ardent mentions in his post above it is about as green as it gets, lose this fight against the antis and the precedent is set for the next battle, probably here at home.
 
KMG they already started with bears in different juridictions across Canada ... it is shame but as a group we are not able to stand together, there is no need to have antis agains us ....
 
This African Safari program is coming to Calgary in the new year. I am sure this Lana Stark will be doing her best to have it stopped there as well.

I find it very strange that the Saskatoon Inn would side with an anti hunting group when if you check their posted menu they have elk and bison on it. Seems it is all right to be against hunting but it is ok to profit from pen raised animals who ancestors roamed free. I wonder what the antis think of that.

Maybe someone should send a copy of the menu to all the animal rights groups in Canada!

The Ssskatoon Inn had a mounted moose head in the bar for decades. It wouldn't surprise me much if it's still there.
