just got a Magpul for my compact
I love it ☺

Lord frig.... there's always someone to jump on that bandwagon.... it's LEGAL.... DRILLED AND ROLLPINNED AND EPOXY COVERED....now that thats covered shall we continue on without any more Captain Obviousness?

Captain Obvious eh? that's almost as cute as your little rig. Honestly, don't really care if it's legal that's between you and the government. I was curious the method you used to lock up the folder and since i've never seen that stock with a short barrel I wanted to know the overall length.

Haha. Okay. My apologies. Wasn't gonna share this little rig but since it's all legal I thought I would. Just always get people ready to pounce when they see it. I think I have pics of the process when I pinned it. I used my drill press and drilled three holes complete through the hinge mechanism and pressed in three roll pins, then filled with epoxy and cleaned it up and used black BBQ paint on the small spots and it came out to a seamless finish by pure damn luck. Haha. As for the OAL I also set the adjustable stock so it cannot slide down beyond 27.5" . I also had to cut the forend down and die grind the upper plate and remainder of the stock so the barrel would be free floating. Basically was just a s.h.i.t.s and giggles project. Like said I'll try and resurrect the pics I took when I bubba'd it.

no worries, if thats your work when its for S**ts and giggles I can only imagine what the rest of your toys look like. And I apologize if I offended you at all man, I like your rig.

here's mine she's 30"-ish (i'd need to double check), just trying to figure out how to post pics on here now. edit - finally posted a pic only took 2 years

Dlask Dar 22.
12.5 barrel and brake, trigger group with Dlask tune up, and hogue stock from the ee
Picked up receiver, bolt, guide rod, bolt buffer, trigger pins, action screw and v block from Dlask. Topped with a vortex diamondback 4-12 bdc. Needs some lower rings. Nice little 22, can't wait to get it out shooting.

Been thinking about a troy build. I like it. Wish theyd come up with that for a takedown.

Thanks buddy, i wasn't sure about the barrel length but after handling it, the weight and swing feels perfect. Its going to be a handy truck gun. Its the first Dlask ive handled and now i understand what all the hype is about. Now to get it out shooting.

One more post of the DAR 22 out in the field. I had some issues with the bolt but got it fixed up and wow does it shoot! Likes 36 gr mini mag hollow points thankfully as it is my favorite all around for paper accuracy and critter take down power. First group is 25 rounds semi rapid fire off a bipod at 30 yards

Here is a 5 shot group at 50 yards.

And here it is after the first real day of shooting.
