Pietta Python?

The 4.2 inch model would be a hot seller I would be in for one .I had a colt python years ago and found the 6 inch barrel to be very front heavy.

I expect that a "hot seller" in the Canadian market wouldn't even register when it comes to overall sales. I doubt we will see a special Canada only model. Although, a BSS finish would be nice

Here's a question though..... has Pietta ever actually produced a DA revolver before?

As I understand it there will be 4 inch and 6 inch offerings....
Of course they will produce any barrel length one may want, simply a question of volume....
Yes Pietta has produced DA revolvers for other companies

agree.....4.2" would be a seller for sure, however 6" 99% of us wont complain.

Looks like we shouldn't hold our breath. This was posted 3 days ago by one of the regulars on the Colt Forum....

"On Saturday, Jan 16, I sent an email to Pietta asking if they were still planning to produce the gun.
Answer on Monday, Jan 18, was "No sir. This gun is not in production."

On Jan 18, I asked "Will it be someday? Do you know when?"
Answer on Jan 18, "Can't give you that answer. Sorry for that."

John said he has them on order , John said he has handled them in the factory .
