Two points- one, folks had a hard enough time figuring out where to post a question with only one precision rifle subforum. Saying PRS is different from square range is like saying SUVs are so different from sportscars that each should have their own roads to get around, and never the two shall cross. The guts of square and PRS are exactly the same, as heretical as that will sound to some. It's confusing to see how the fundamentals are so easily overlooked once the participants show up dressed to advertise.
Second point, where should questions regarding ballistics go? Maybe questions regarding 'match' bullets go in square, but if their designation is OTM then they can be addressed here? Should the reloading forum also be split? The winners in PRS have excellent reloading techniques, should this discipline be compromised by talking about reloading among knuckle dragging hunters who can't figure out if 4198 is a rifle or pistol powder?
No one is discounting that PRS is the next generation, it just fundamentally isn't that different from what came before.
