10/22 bull barrels where to find

View attachment 46536View attachment 46535$180 for the Dlask and $60 for a FH is almost a TacSol. Dlask is a anchor, the TacSol is way nicer and way more accurate. Here's a pic I took , first shot was to get on paper then the next three are the group. I know it's only three shot group but it's from a hundred yards ,using a RDS.
so you got on paper then dropped it an inch and an inch left? why not all 4 the same aim point?
with your set up you should be covering a quarter.

Don't remember why, that was 2 summers ago , I remember having to put the dot on the top of the the target, I was only messing around, didn't even think I'd get it on the target at a hundred. But I do remember changing the aiming point after the first shot.

I think the dlask SS would be the same, but it's so much heavier and he did say he was shooting offhand., Maybe not the best barrel for that.Maybe I'm to nish:) edit* I didn't try the dlask at 100.

is it that of an anchor? the G36 kit is light and well balanced so I wouldn't want to get too nose heavy... might want to wait a little to save a few buck and get a lighter one then...

They're heavy enough, not the best for carrying around or shooting offhand. They will make the gun front heavy. The tacsol is way lighter and points nicely. They are a bit pricy though at $280 + txs. I've seen the odd one show up on the EE for $200. You should really see one before you buy one.

havent weight it, but stock with a front grip no optic it feels really nice and light enought to have fun shooting offhand. Still I don't plan on grooping a 5 shot .22 single hole offhand...

My concern with shorter barrel is that I have a folding stock on the archangel kit. I don't want it to become restricted and would prefer not epoxying the stock to full lengh

What about carbon fiber barrels?

I am also thinking of upgrading my 10/22 barrel, but it needs to stay under 4.5 lbs total weight or I'll never get my wife/kids to shoot it. If I'm going to upgrade, it has to be both accurate and light. Does anybody know who sells carbon fibre barrels in Canada?

Questar but it weights more than a 15oz tacsol barrel.
Pws is 1lb 6oz
So 22oz vs 15oz.
However iirc the end of the pws is steel and wont bugger up like the tacdol.

I'm in the same situation, I have a 9 yr old and am trying to keep it light. I'm doing a Axiom/Tac sol combo. Should get it to about 4lbs. The Nordic/TacSol was around 6or 7 lbs.

My friends and I used to set shotgun shells up at 100 yds and race to shoot them down. 10 at a time, first to 5 wins.

I bought a 20" Green Mountain bull barrel 2 years ago and they stopped playing with me, haha. 4 in a row is normal, maybe I got a good barrel by chance but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The 20", blued (non-fluted) .920" was $125 at the time, doubt it would be more than $180 now.

I'm trying to decide between the Dlask 12.5" Sporter bull barrel, and the 11" Dlask factory contour barrel. Can anyone tell me the weight of their Dlask bull barrel and the length so I can get some idea?
