Hey! I hope you don't mind that I started this thread? This is a newsworthy event and all of us are going to be intensely interested in the outcome.

No - I don't mind. I suppose its worthy of a thread.

That being said, I hope people can stay respectful - and remember that your comments can affect a sale. Some people will just troll all day, and wish they could own an awesome piece of history such as this.

What's the point of this thread?
That's a pretty cool crate and I wish I had the money to do the same when they were available with the 199 Garands and mausers, etc.
Good on ya

I kind of feel that these ten rifles should be kept together!?!? There will probably not be another opportunity to create this piece of art again.

Really, anyone who was a gun nut ten or even twenty years ago, should have been taking advantage of this kind of deal when the prices were low.

I think you are right - to be honest it was harder than just waiting to find this. Also, these never came in publicly available by the crate, just individual rifles, let alone consecutive ones.

Well....lots of luck selling the package. Really, I do mean it. I just wonder who has that kind of money to spend these days.

I sent the offer and see if he likes it.

If he accept it, I will sell them separately to younger CGNer like me who missed the deal long time ago.

I wish I had the money! I think it will be a good investment, twenty years from now when these kind of rifles will be highly sought after
by guys like the rest of us who did not get a Yugo and every thing else has been bubba'd or at least sporterized.

I think it might be best if mods can just lock this thread and I can sell my rifles without the damn peanut gallery commenting from the sidelines.
