Lets see those howa/vanguards

Here's my series 1 Vanguard in 300Wby.
Manners T5A stock- pillar and glass bedded
30" Krieger heavy palma barrel
Holland Quick Discharge brake
Timney trigger set for 1.5lbs
Ken Farrel 20MOA rail
Vortex rings
Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 MOA/MOA scope

It is a delight to shoot. Took a 6X5 whitetail buck at 430 yards this fall.

Impressive ! Thanks for sharing with us, you have a few dollars invested.
Can you tell us what it weighs as pictured, must be a solid platform to shoot...

Here is my 257wby. Nothin special. Stainless with a bedded B&C stock. Leupold vx2 3-9x40. Shoots like a lazer beam. For the price of them they sure seem to shoot well.... Its the green one :)

No longer owned, but a ranchland in .308

I'll let the picture I just took tell you the weight of her. This is empty.

She is very stable. I can watch the bullet impacts through the scope. The muzzle blast can be somewhat ferocious to bystanders though recoil is very mild. She throws 168gr Matrix Ballistics RBT pills at just under 3400fps with her moly coated bore.

If someone Edmonton area or a bit north wants to try her, I'm up for a meet and boom on most weekends. She tends to put a grin on your face bigger than any hooker could.

My two Howas, back one is a 375 Ruger Stainless 20" with a Hogue stock.
The front one is the Alpine model in 6.5 Creedmoor also with a 20" barrel, has a shaved receiver and a Bansner stock making it a couple pounds lighter than the 375.
Despite looking larger than the back rifle it is actually smaller...
