I see wanstalls stocks these from old posts but supply is limited now. Has anyone heard if or seen the sbx barrel in Canada? I see them in irunguns us store. It says threaded so that unit on the end threads off I guess but total length is 16in. Anyone have one or know of fit? Will it impede on stock with the flashy end?

Seems to me its all one piece.
The barrel on the inside is threaded to take a suppressor.
Doesnt look like you can take the shroud off.

I have the takedown version, shroud does not come off its permanently installed. It's threads to be used with a suppressor ( it comes with a fake can ) the idea behind it is to have a 16" suppressed barrel vs a regular barrel with suppressor adding length to it. Flush fit in my Hogue stock.

Yeah they seem limited on the x ring now as well. Irunguns us has sbx couldnt find it anywhere else. To above, yeah I may have misread that. When I saw it was threaded I assumed the end was threaded on but I believe you are correct. If I decide to put it in the magpul it's going to need some Dremel work to make it fit.
Airwolf anyplace to source barrel shrouds? I'm not a fan of the ones hical has or had and kineti-tech told me to beat it. Tacticool 22 has some and they confirmed they ship. I see you have alot of rim fire posts so maybe you know of some. GP tactical is bringing some but cannot confirm the conflicting info in the listing for them yet regarding protruding threads and what model they are getting so my barrel stays skinny for the time being
Questar has cans. Also a few airsoft places like badland have 1/2 28 threaded cans that are for .22s

Yep but that would make sense wouldn't it. Sounds good thanks, I haven't ordered anything from them ever so wasn't sure what I'd be getting but it looks solid enough for my purposes. If the threads are good, it's good lol. All for looks anyway thanks again and I'll check out some airsoft as well just to see

FYI, anyone can have a barrel imported from mostly anywhere, you just have to pony up and pay.
