Ummmmmm.......think ya missed my point .....ahhhhhh yeah.

Which is? Because if it is anywhere near as insightful as your thoughts on getting a variant of the mp5 in as restricted/non restricted, I'm pretty sure the point about classification chances would be pointless.

Yeah isn't the new one designated SP5K? Think I saw in HK's site awhile back. So if you can legally have a TP-9, as well as Scopion.....why not the SP5K?

And...

Actually you may have a better shot at getting it through as a SBR (short barrelled rifle) like TP9. After all the MP5K in its initial offering ( as was deemed prohib) was configured as a "pistol" with no stock. If this was offered with a stock and limited to 5 rounds would make a better argument. Needless to say it won't be full auto and couldn't be made so easily.

Can someone slap some cosmoline on my rifle?
While they sitting in crates, in a warehouse, might as well smell the part and avoid rust.

Thanks :p

Considering that they went to Florida to be tuned by Project Guns, and Project Guns has a good reputation for their work and the care of firearms they produce, and given the fact they live in Florida and are well aware of their own climate and it's affects, I'm not worried.

No sense freaking out over something that hasn't even been brought up yet as an issue. Let's let DT actually verify what is being done instead.

I'm not worried about how it's stored,

I'm just worried that everyone will be jelous once these get delivered to all of us who got in on the preorder.

Can't wait.

I think it was another thread about something unrelated but is it possible to launch a FOIP request to the RCMP for any and all emails, notes, meeting minutes etc etc regarding the RPD and why an FRT hasnt been issued in over 2 years?

I've thought about it myself. If you look at their existing requests many are disclosed only partially or with nothing at all as they classify the material as exempt from a FOIA request. So for this topic you may get something or nothing at all.
