Hello Wanstalls!..:)

Would you folks be able to get in this Marlin Rifle?

I would take one in 44 Magnum and one in 357 Magnum. The 357 magnum is Model 1894CSBL.

I contacted Marlin/Remington in the United States and the 44 Magnum is and has, already been built, the 357 Models are scheduled to be built this year!...:)

I was in there a couple weeks ago really wanting a lever action rifle. I didn't quite scratch the itch. This one might just do it! Do want! I must go in and touch it. :cool:
My son bought a Marlin 1895 GBL from Wanstalls and it is awesome.

I love the stainless look of my SBL. I just took out the damned crossbolt safety and put in a saddle ring. I like it so much I've been toying with getting a GBL too. Goes great with my 45acp/LC Redhawk

I made it at work at lunch, one of the perks of being a machinist, although they are available stateside from Beartooth Mercantile

As far as I know, the SBL is only available in 45-70 EDIT, sorry, didn't see the part about them coming out this year, I wouldn't mind one in a 45LC

Hey Dogzilla,

The 1894SBL is already being manufactured in 44 magnum, they started building them (2015) last spring. They are available in the USA as we speak, the 357 model is not slated for build until this summer.

I did not ask about 45 LC, but a quick call to the factory will answer all your questions. I received all my information by talking to them directly.

Tyson from Wanstalls is looking into the availability of the Stainless 1894SBL in 44 magnum early next week. Hopefully we can get them soon in all the great 44, 357, and 45 LC calibers.

Again, very professional job on the stainless saddle ring!....:)

Well. That was easy. Fit and finish is nice. The action is smooth too. Now she's mine.

Now I can post some. These were done too quickly and had to be messed with for exposure etc. but they'll do.

I like the salt and pepper laminate stock. My SBL has ghost ring sights, I didn't think I'd like them, but they have grown on me. If I was to get one like yours I would put on a set of skinner or Williams peep sights

Sorry wanstalls this lever action should be like the old one in that my 8 year old daughter should be able to cycle the action with no issue she cannot even move the lever . one thing i heard was that there was this issue with a specific serial number i beleive it has a G init or something like that. sorry to be a bummer guys. wanstalls is awesome i baught my ruger 22/45 from them they are awesome great service all of that but this gun is just terrible. mine is the stainless hunter oh yeah the barrel and sight are also off too. they are not aligned properly as well if you pull the top picatiniy rail off the last screw pops becasue it is under load witch is horrible. Again sorry wanstalls i will continue to purchase from you but not this product. i ll go with a henery if i canoffloadthis

My serial number is MR*****F it was made in Jan 2016 and is perfect in every way. I looked at everything, but again I sat and worked my lever hundreds and hundreds or times and it's now so smooth
 
First of all i am a noob to lever actions, secondly i bought it brand new online. i cycled the crap out of it at least a thousand times shot about 15 rounds through it. still junk. and i love this gun but just let down i must a got a tail end of the junk ones before the new ones were put out. Just being honest here. i am not home until august. i will do it then . post pictures and call marlin/remington to see if they will fix or warrenty it.
