New FTR action made in Canada is almost available

Costs, specs, info ...just call Karl. He's making them, he's selling them. Karl told me what the thought he would be selling them for a while back. Information is just a phone call away.
I have seen them shoot and if I was in the market for another action, they would be among my top choices.

Any provision to keep the Sako style extractor in the rifle in the event of a case failure?

That would be my concern as well... anyone can screw up a 700 action by installing only part of the Sako extractor system... only a few can machine and install the original 700 style extractor.

A heads up for anyone in the market for one of the KS Arms repeater actions to fit Wyatt magazines ... Talked to one of the boys today who mentioned he was going to offer some on sale for $1150.00.

Is there any reason their repeater action wouldn't work with AI compatible bottom metal/mags, even though they're saying it's designed for Wyatt?

They have a repeater action for AI available now.

The short action AI repeaters are $1,620 including rail plus tax. The long action including the 338 models are $1,700 including rail plus tax.

The super cheap pricing they offered was just to blow out the actions that are only designed to feed of off wyatts. I believe everything moving forward will be AI compatible.

They also have single shot FTR actions in short and long available and can do right, left hand as well as right bolt left port and vice versa. GREAT guys to work with.
