Been looking around, with the exception of some used or show models at Epps's there are NO sales! I really want to grab one or two in a few different calibres to try, but not at $800 and up.

What does the new version offer? At under $700, the T3 are priced correctly. Not a deal, per se, as $900-$1000 for a T3 was a joke.

Metal bolt shroud, modular stock, new recoil pad, stock noise reduction, improved grip, redesigned ejection port, improved rail attachment, steel recoil lug

The only thing that interests me in the new version are the metal bolt shroud and recoil lug, both of which will be available for individual purchase and will fit a normal T3. I picked up a stainless from prairie gun traders for 799. I'm guessing the new ones will be 1100-1200 bucks. Which makes these deals right now a steal.

I'm ordering a few from Prairie Gun tomorrow. The T3x's really don't offer a huge improvement. I will order a metal shroud and a steel lug after the fact (I have not seen any impact marks on any of my aluminum lugs, and I have never seen a plastic shroud break). The modular grip on the new synthetic stocks don't interest me, and a larger ejection port is of no practical value to me on a DM bolt rifle. The best deal right now is with Prairie Gun. The new ones will all be north of $1000 for sure.

That was my exact thinking. Excellent rifle as it is.

Only thing that interests me on the new T3x line up is the varmint in a 6.5 creedmore
