Colt Canada Diemaco MRR

I've said before, I'm replacing my entire fleet with a strict MRR stable. That said, it's going to be a while.

From what learned recently, there won't be a hole in the production schedule, to slide in civi sales, for months.

Im loving the hype, as a Diemaco fanboy, but I think Nordic is needlessly teasing us at this point...

The 16 should read 15.7. That was what they were advertising previously.

I think the FDE Cerakote rifles seen posted everywhere may be the select fire, military offerings. That may explain the difference in barrel length between the brown rifles posted in the press release and on Colt Canada site and the civilian catalog posted on first page.

....Obviously, i could be completely wrong just as well.

The catalog image on page one is info sent to civilian dealers and shows different info.
I doubt they would print, in the catalog, different barrel length for no reason. It doesn't look like rounding up the numbers. That could explain the 15.7/16 inches barrel length difference , but can't explain the 18/18.6 inches discrepancy.

I might buy an upper to get a lighter 11 inch AR. Now that we can't get the cool colour I will just hook it up to the SA lower I have.

I would have opted for the 15.7 if my custom RECCE build didn't look so damn similar.

In retrospect, I'm actually glad they are only offered anodized to the Civillian market as it will allow me to add some OD/FG magpul furniture to it to pay homage to its Canadian roots.

As for not coming out in a while, I'm ok with that. It gives me more time to save.

I'm thinking exactly the same thing. I was hoping these would be released in green, as I want an 11.5" one. Even if I could get a full rifle cerakoted in Colt Canada green, I think just the colored upper would look cool on a black lower with green furniture.

Damn. I wanted one in hot pink and purple. :p

Smartassery aside. Is there going to be iop pricing for these guns or uppers?

Well, we can now submit our pre order to the distributor for late fall delivery!
11.6" $2349.95
18.6" $2499.95

We will have them up on the website tomorrow.

That was done just for SHOT Show. It was to show Mil/LE custom it was available as an option.

Rebel Rouser is bang on.

It was looked at for the retail market but the additional cost the FDE Cerakote would have added would have turned some retail buyers away.

Question about the gas system length utilized in the MRR 16" and 18" DMR platform.

Are all CC MRR lengths utilizing a carbine length gas system?? this would be great information to know before placing an order. Thanks
