The FRT - Firearms Awaiting Classification - Updated 19-JUL-2018 MG-3S & MG1919-S

Just thought I'd make a quick post about the firearms currently awaiting FRT numbers. Below is a list from Oct-2014 of firearms obtained from the completed Access to Information Request A-2014-04145. It shows new production firearms awaiting FRT numbers, in addition to Converted Auto firearm inspections.

The updated list below from Access to Information Request A-2015-09752. The request was made by Dennis R. Young and you can see the request in it's entirety here: http://dennisryoung.ca/2016/05/12/rcmp-release-firearms-reference-table-frt-processing-procedures/

And finally, below is the most up-to-date list of firearms awaiting classification as of June 2017. Red indicates classified as prohibited, and green indicates classified as restricted/non-restricted. I'll try to keep this list as up-to-date as possible.

WTF... the Crossman AIR RIFLE in 357 in Prohibited? WTF???

This makes no sense at all.

The shell of the rifle has been deemed a bullpup stock, as it is not integral to the receiver of the firearm. Additionally it has an integrated suppresor as part of the design.

Doubly prohib.

However it is also noted that should the rifle not be accompanied with the bullpup stock or has the suppresor feature removed, it would be non-restricted based on it muzzle velocity and kinetic energy.

I can see the baffle less being prohib, but the stock? talk about facepalm.

Ah, right- forgot the AUG was a named prohib. Seems like I have no luck when it comes to bullpups, all the ones I like are either banned or no longer in production.
