CSSA & CSAAA Join to start legal action- Ruger 10/22 mags

Sounds so easy, right? This thread already has 20 thousand+ views. Wonder if this action has received 20k donations yet? Think about if each member, even just put in 10 bucks (that's a lot of cash, but not really, even)

Just what is it going to take, before guys all start rolling their sleeves up??

I'm not sure how realistic a donation per view expectation it. A lot of people probably check back in on the thread a couple times a day to see if there are any updates.

edit: I apologize if that came off sounding smug. I've donated, and plan to donate more when I can. I've also written letters. I said the above because I'll often check in when I see the thread bumped to see if there are any updates on the proceedings, but I'll be broke if I donate everytime I view. I apologize if it gets taken the wrong way.

Thanks for being a businessman with the brass monkeys to take a public position on these issues, John. Wish more on the supply side would show similar resolve.

Small donation to the CSSA legal fund inbound, and a larger one once the CC cut off passes.

Every time I come back to this thread I am emboldened.
Well done. Keep it up.
A class action will cost them for their disgraceful actions against law abiding gun owners.
Be patient. Litigation moves slowly.

No, it will cost US,as we're the taxpayers who fund their legal battle against ourselves, but none the less I also renewed with the cssa and donated too

You're absolutely right, in that my wording is goofy. 20k views, does not equate to 20k people, all viewing the thread a single time.

No need to ever apologize to me, especially regarding smugness. :)

Well, yes, of course. But don't forget how this works.
The DOJ defends the federal government/RCMP. They have a budget.
I am quite happy to have a class action drain their budget.
The taxes we pay are the taxes we pay. It's not like taxes will be raised to fund the litigation.

For sure, this will help, the RCMP use very little money to go after law abiding firearms owners so they can show headlines claiming they made the streets safer! Whereas, if they actually went after the criminals smuggling illegal guns to criminals with no PAL/RPAL, it costs a ton of money and man hours to infiltrate/ stakeout these bad guys,, and it is dangerous . So they pick the low hanging fruit that just costs a couple dips#!ts in an office, coming up with these ideas!
If we start costing them money and court time ( especially if they lose this case) maybe they will spent their allowance somewhere more productive!
