For those asking, I bought my +2 mags for CZ Shadow 2 (and Walther PPQ M2) online from IRG. Irunguns.com . They're a sponsor ..see their banner above.

IRG will pin them to 10. Note: Couple of my PPQ mags were pinned so tight 10th round was tough to load. This in turn caused some initial mag seating probs. With use not a big deal anymore. Suggest in the special notes section you ask IRG to pin them to 10.5 rounds to avoid this problem.

On the Mags, these are MecGar CZ mags. Original capacity is 10 rounds MGCZ7510B. Got them from a US retailer (Brownells.com) USD $20 only). These mags are the official mags for shadow with an all metal tube. I have asked wolverine to make sure CZ sends these mags for shadow 2 and not the crappy 1/3 plastic ones. ut it looks like we are getting the crappy ones.

These mags are the same as 17 round magazine but factory has made an indentation which limits the capacity to 10. Also these mags also come with a +2 base pads which are advertised 19 round magazines. But they all share the same body.

MecGar does not manufacture 10 rounders with +2 base pads as it does not make any sense. Therefore in order to get +2 base pad with the 10 rounder, you can buy the +2 base pads separately. Please note that adding the base pad will not increase the capacity of the magazine. It just makes it easier to handle.

basepad can be acquired through a Canadian online retailer(Marstar) .

Or you can just order the Mec-Gar CZ 75B 9mm 19 round mags with anti stick coating from irunguns.com site for $30.52usd as I did. They'll pin them to 10. Not sure if they charge to pin them. Will have to check my receipt from the Last batch of Walther PPQ +2 mags I ordered.

Note: IRG link above won't take you to the correct site. Need to go to irunguns.com site and search their Mec-Gar mag section for them.

Their shipping probably comes in more pricey. I love IRG but in this case, Brownells will have delivered the mags to you in Canada in under a week. IRG is great for big purchases but it will take on average 6 weeks

Also with the pinned mags, it's hard to clean the mags if you drop them in dust etc as pinned mags won't disassemble.

This us why I love this site! CGN'ers coming together to share ideas, fixes, sourcing product, etc.

Thanx Chicu1981! Ordered 3 more Mec-Gar CZ 75 mags and 6 +2 base plates from Marstar yesterday. Brownells mag price is actually $25usd. Marstar have them at $43 CDN and I only pay the one shipping charge so Was happy to give my money to Canadian retailer and CGN sponsor! And Pat in Marstars sales dept is a Prince!

FYI, the IRG Mec-Gar CZ 75B mags I ordered are listed having an anti-stick finish...as per the 3 Mec-Gar CZ mags I already have. And these mags fly out when you eject them! Note the Mags on the Brownells and Marstar site Is listed with a blue finish. If this matters to you.

Placed my order with Marstar for additional Mec-Gar CZ 75B mags and the Mec-Gar +2 base pads Tuesday and received it from Canada Post Thursday! $43.95 for mags + $10.95 for +2 base pads = $54.90 each. Shipping was $12.99.

The mags are the same Mec Gar mags I've been using for awhile now in my CZ SP01 Shadow. They run flawlessly and are better quality mags than the ones that came with my Shadow. +2 base plates are easy to install and remove for cleaning. Luv'em and they fit my big paws nicely!

With the 4 +2 Mec Gar mags I've ordered from IRG's and 3 that come with my shadow 2 plus the ones I already have don't expect I'll have to do much mag loading at most of the smaller matches any more:)

Marstar now out of stock on the plus 2 pads. Mags still in stock and are cheaper than buying them from America and paying all the extras

Nice that Marstar actually listened to the request to get the +2's shame other importers ignored it...

IRG also pinned my mags too high. Half of them wouldn't seat on a closed slide and when loaded on an open slide it would jam when releasing the slide. I had to repin most of them.

You don't need to buy pinned 17/19 round mags, MecGar makes a full body mag that is already dented at the right spot, just throw a +2 on that. The dents actually allow for 10.5 rounds to be loaded quite nicely.
