New DA556 rifles - What do you want?

Id say flat top, ambi, m-lok or even better like a keymod fortis or something similar. 14.5, 16 and 18 and light weight as possible

9mm or a M16 clone complete with triangular handguards and prong FS.

I second this,

Include some retro Vietnam M16 look-a-likes.
I think the market is already over-saturated with flat-tops/M4's etc., People who want these most likely already have them.

There is a sector that wants a real budget entry level black rifle for a rock bottom price--how big it really is will be the tough thing to figure out.

what would be really great is,slick sided upper,no port cover door,no useless forward assist, and left side cocker, reciprocating cocking handle would fine, that would be awsome,

A good compromise for handguard is something like the ATI ar-22 stock for 10-22. It's free floating, pic rails can be attached to make it 6 or 8 sided, but are optional for those who don't want 17 gadgets. It's aluminum so doesn't feel cheap like plastic. And it looks good.

Maybe too expensive for a 600$ rifle though.

Second highly.
There's enough tactical stupidity AR gimmick junk to top up 3 land fills in this country already for rock bottom prices.
Lets see some more rare/classic and retro stuff.
Like I already said before just being able to purchase a 20" pencil barrel with 1:9 twist would send me and my credit card over the moon.
