They are no longer made and those that have them keep em,and those that sold them regret it.
My Sporter is an awesome lil pack rifle.
Be patient, and keep looking.
your sportster was it the mod. ss1-y22 ????it has a 20" barrel.... and the rifle is only 33" long ...i find that a bit short ??? was it drilled and tapped for a scope ??
To put this nicer, it can take days/weeks/months to find a gun you're after in the EE here. Just sort of depends who's looking at your ad, and when. No everybody is on this site 9x a day like I am.You're allowed to "bump" your wanted ad once a week, that puts it to the top again...maybe fresh eyes see it. Be patient. Those guns (as they were) are no longer made, and I've been told by Gravel Agency (company that imports them into Canada) that they're being redesigned. They weren't expensive new, built robust...maybe the guys who own them (mostly) want to keep them..?
On a side note...the "WTB" ads used to be mixed in with the "WTS" ads...and that was a FAR better system if you ask me. Like a few odd decisions here on CGN, that seems counter intuitive. Seems most people list things for sale without ever even checking the "Wanted" forum first. The end result is the same (sellers sell) but for those looking for things...your chances of finding them with a WTB ad got reduced significantly.

Th e youth is very short. I tried it but it seemed I was really crunched up.
The only shortfall is the forend is bendy and flexes with the bi pod. An after market wood stock would fix it but increase the weight.
