Not sure how this ugly thing found it's way into my "FUDD" gun locker... :)

I am really enthralled with this new toy. At $2000+, just for the carbine it better be good. It is clearly very well made, and super easy to disassemble and clean--how freaking nice for a change!!

I hope to have it out this Sunday or sooner. I will give a range report (though I will be focused mainly on zeroing the Sparc and simply throwing lead down range) and I will also give an honest opinion on the Sparc. Those that know me know that if I am not 100% satisfied, it goes on EE or in the garbage, so you'll get an honest assessment!

I know it's been said before....but...'You get what you pay for.'
Before you go down the 'Vortex rabbit hole', may I suggest you check out Holosun's offerings, which seem to offer more than the Vortex, without the Aimpoint price point...Just my personal $0.02......

Yeah, I too am interested to know your thoughts on that optic. I have a T2 that I just purchased, but boy are those expensive, and I have another AR I'd like to throw an optic on as well.

I kinda like it (I can almost hear the cries of horror as this statement is read)

Will be curious to hear how it handles/shoots

I don't think that it surpasses the ''beauty'' of a Mossberg 464 SPX.................:)

I've been tempted by the Mossberg 464 SPX....... :)
The rectangular look of the latest ( I assume it's the latest) generation Kriss looks pretty good to me.
The mechanical design of the platform with it's low bore axis is pretty cool and I'd love to shoot one.

This generation looks way better then the old long(Cdn) round barrel models of the past.

I used to think the Vectors looked horrible, but they have really grown on me. Nice purchase!

OK, I am one happy camper. I will post a range report later, suffice it to say, that this 9mm Kriss is freaking fun to shoot!! Point of Aim, almost no recoil, NO muzzle climb, and 100% reliable with the Glock mags. I had one FTF with the KCI mag (first 20 rounds), but after about 100 rounds, the KCI mag was also fine. I tested out to ~90-100 metres, and it still shot mostly inside a large pie plate. Impressive. I am out in the remote Ontario north, and I can tell you that even when in the bush, it is very easy to clean. Now I see why there are more WTB than WTS ads for the Kriss. I've read mixed reviews on the Gen 1 45, but the Gen 2 9x19 seems to work just fine. One other thing I will add, is that the Sparc AR is spot on. I won't be doing any smashing off the trees to test its durability, but it is clearly a very decent scope.

One other thing, I had a few rounds of +P+ velocity handloads... pretty impressive punch! If it were legal, 9mm handloads with 120 grain hard cast bullets going 1400 fps would certainly be a nice 50-75 metre deer round, but that's for another bear defence thread! :)
