Colt Canada Modular Railed Rifle

I'm really excited for SHOT 2016. Mainly with the hopes of getting more information on this Rifle. And maybe some news on the possibility of Civi sales?

I'm excited to see what comes from SHOT 2016 as well. And hoping for a CC BCG in the new year.

You are correct. I've built 2 mod0 and am in the process of building a mod1 and "recce" as well. Somehow mixed the 16" carbine length gas system of the "recce" and 18" rifle lengths mixed up in my head. Must of been all the Christmas cheer!

Some new Oper8t0r photos. I want that 20" DMR

Good God that is ###y. Sign me up for one when they're released.

Maybe someone can fill me in on all the Magpul hate. Seems like every time I open a thread a bunch of Gus are negging Magpul kit.

Colt Canada MRRs are aparently shipping Tuesday:

Some observations:

Cannot tell if it's the f/a BCG or the hybrid BCGs from the SA20s and SA15s. Hard to tell from the photos.

The promo pics of this rifle was shown with full ambi controls (including the Norgon Ambi mag release) as well as a window P-mag, but it doesn't look like it comes with a P-mag, and I can't tell by the photos if it has full ambi controls.

That's definitely not the same grip and stock that was originally promoted with the rifle. The one shown ready to ship has a regular MOE grip and stock, where the original promo pics indicated the CTR stock and MIAD grip.

Anyone else notice any differences?

i'd probably still get one if I had the dough, but just not in the cards at the moment.

I'd love to add one of each to my collection, but I'm sick of getting royally screwed as an early adopter. I'm going to sit this one out instead of paying a premium for MOE furniture and wait for the dust to settle and prices to drop. If they drop enough, I'll think about the MRR then. As much as I love Diemaco/Colt Canada products, I hate the way they have approached civilian sales. There's certainly little reward to be found as an uber loyal civilian client. And that's supremely disappointing.
