I Like 20" ARs-Does That Make Me a Freak?

That's right.
I like twenty inch barrels and pretty simple and plain ARs.
Maybe an optic like a 1-4 power or even a fixed and cheap ACOG type equivalent.
A forward grip is a wonderful extravagance for me and probably my limit.
The fixed stock is comfy to me.

No lights, no lasers, no cigarette lighter, no garage door opener for me.

Does this make me sick?

No. I like pretty plain AR15s and I like longer barrels. My next build is an 18inch with a fixed stock and a troy fixed back up sight.

Vietnam era style ar15s are my favorite too. 20" barrel, carry handle sight, and fixed buttstock.

I think the nicest AR I've ever seen was an A1 clone with wood furniture. Looked pretty damn classy.

That's some nice photography (I suck at taking pics). I have pretty much most barrel lengths from 7.5" to 20" and a couple in the "specialty" calibres (300BLK and 7.62x39...but strangely no 9mm...have to work on that). Then we get into the AR10's...

The trick is to take a thousand photos and hope 1 or 2 turn out ok, lol!

Having a portrait lens and good lighting helps a bit too, but these are pretty amature compared to the pros. I have yet to delve into the world of AR10s, but it's only a matter of time.
