Lee Enfields should we import them? westrifle.com

I'd Be interested if they are not sporterized and in good condition. But If you can sell them for more $$ in the us, do what's s best for your business.....

We received an offer to buy 300 Lee Enfields. We are still arguing with a seller about the price. My question is should I import it to Canada or ship it to USA where I can get more money for it? Do you think Canada will pay the high price for those?

I can not reveal the price yet because I don't know if I can drop it down.

Everyone is probably going to sh!t on me for this, but if you can import them to the U.S. And get more money for them, that's what I'd do in your situation.

everything you posted is pure speculation ........

define " more money " , " high price " ............ as well as the condition of the rifles , make model where they where made ect........

without even the tiniest amount of info how can anyone speculate on what they are willing to pay regardless of what side of the border they are on .

Interested, however the model (Lee Enfield is too generic, is this 300 Long Lees or 300 POF No 4 Mk. 1s?), condition (poor-exc) and if it is still in original configuration (i.e. sporterized or not) will have a effect. I won't promise any price I would be willing to pay until I see the product.

Westrifle hasn't chimed in at all since starting this mess, so I say pure speculation and fishing trip. Anyhow, he can keep em, or better yet ship em off to the yanks. Why say that in the first place, as if to threaten us with losing our beloved Lee Enfield that we should be protecting somehow from going to a country that wouldn't appreciate them. UNLESS we all clamour to say how much money we are going to throw at him. This thread is retarded. I'm out.

Just too infuriating. 300 Irish new in the wrap or 300 Cavalry carbines, ex RCMP? Tell us what you have, or have the opportunity to purchase. I suggest you belt up and sell them to the Americans.

Since I couldn't edit my first post, I would add that I've picked up several dozen rifles from Westrifle, both directly and indirectly. Most of them have all been in the premium plus condition as described. I've never got a bad rifle from them , nor a rifle that has been less then described. When they had museum perfect M38s, I waited over a year while other people #####ed and complained but when it came in , it was perfect. Westrifle had some unissued and un-referbed SKS rifles coming in, once again people didn't like waiting and b*tched and moaned and jumped the ship. They were also perfect.

These deals take a long time to put together, longer for the paperwork, and longer yet for the government to let them in. All the while that payment from the importer was the beginning of the process. If people think its so easy to do, then they should do it themselves. Surplus rifles get less and less every year. My collection is awesome because I'm patient, I wait, and I jump on deals and waiting lists when I see them. Nobody is in this business to give stuff away for free, neither are the importers. If you don't like the deal, p*ss off and get out of the line up, there are twenty guys to take your place.

this was my first thoughts when I first read this thread .................

why even mention the idea that he can get more money from them in the states , unless it is a threat to be used when some of complain about the high prices he will be asking ...

Yes, l am interested. Or, no, I'm not interested. And yes, please do. Or, don't, if it's better considering all the details available at this time...or before.
