Rimfire Pics...Show em off!!!

My CZ 452 trainer with MCM stock. I bought it a couple years ago from another fellow on here. Gun is an absolute dream to shoot. It is by far the most accurate 22LR that I have ever owned.

Scary to be at home with a day to try some ideas...

Was very little work to fit the 1727F action into the 1827F stock. Just have to inlet for the recoil lug and trim two of the long action screws. A Big thank you to MDT for the action screws from their 54 Anschutz chassis!

Now that's interesting. Please let us know how it works out. Those old Cooey rifles all shot better than most shooters could hold. I have seen lots of them in excellent condition shoot half inch groups at 50 meters when I was working with our club junior members. They always shot the same rifle and became very familiar and proficient with them. The rifles we had were hand picked for excellent as well as tight bores.

Needs a bit of work yet, all I did was slap the scope on and try it out without touching anything else. Looking promising so far, but the trigger needs some work and I either need a new firing pin or a new spring.

My old 75 has a really sloppy trigger.
Anyone with any ideas on fixing that?

From all the Cooey's I've seen so far, probably half have had a nail used to hold the trigger to the receiver, usually a little bit loose as well. Sometimes the tabs of the trigger mechanism, which meet up with the receiver where the previously mentioned pin goes, are spread out a little. This also adds to the slop in a trigger.

Honestly, they are cheaply made so they aren't going to be the smoothest or tightest triggers.....but they can be improved a little.

Unertl target scope is about all I know. Not sure if they had particular model numbers or not. This one is a 10x and 22" long, came with the original wood box as well. Unertl mounts as well, pretty easy to install on the gun too.

There is supposed to be a recoil spring on the scope, but it never came with it. Someone told me that some scopes never did have them from factory, not sure how true that is. Also missing the eyepiece lens cap.

I'm a sucker for the look of the Unertl/Fecker/Lyman target scopes. This one is surprisingly clear to look through. Perhaps it will help me get into the 50 metre challenge.....
