US M14 Parts Kits

They have arrived, due to staff shortage because of the Shot Show it will take us this week to sort them. We have to sort them all before we can list them as we have found a few heavy barrels! Condition is pretty good, we will not be grading them. Barrels look good, finish varies from OK to good. We have incurred some extra unexpected costs so price will be $950.00 for the regular weight barrel and $1,150.00 for the heavy weight barrel, that may come down if the ratio of heavy to light improves. Kits include everything apart from the receiver.

Our plan is to have them on our web site Monday.

Would your in-house gunsmith be able to re-barrel and headspace a norc receiver with the barrel+bolt from the kit?

Silly question! I just paid for them so I know exactly how many :) After we have sorted and packed them I will know how many complete and how many heavy verses light. We are missing the odd part and I have found one poor barrel. We are running a patch down the bore to check condition. You will need new role pins, don't count on what is included. I can't guarantee that all will have the stripper block guide but otherwise complete.
Some stocks are excellent a few not so good but that will be the luck of the draw, we will pick the best stocks to go with heavy barrels. If there are any real "dogs" they will stay to the end and may be discounted. All stocks have a raised sniper cheek piece and rubber recoil pad.

How many kits did you bring in ? 100 /250 / 500 ??

General speaking they are above expectations. Only found one barrel with a bad bore and may be one or two that may be a grade two or simply need cleaning up some more. The bores are dirty, other parts are what you would expect on a used military surplus rifle, I expect customers will be pleased. We are missing the odd part so not sure on the final count, we started with 200.

It includes a complete trigger group, the odd one I have checked were very sweet, these were used as sniper rifles not squad automatics. Barrels are chrome lined, all a little dirty, we are running two patches down each barrel and they look very good but I would recommend a good cleaning. We have a few that have heavy barrels.
 
you said you received around 200 parts kits..... Do you plan to import more ?!

I'm a bit short on $$$... I would like to know if I will have an other occasion to buy one !
