I regret selling my Trijicon Accupoint 1-6x. It is the best 3-gun type optic I have ever used. The 1x is a true 1x beyond about 6m. I had the green mildot reticle which means you have good reference points for different ranges of shooting that doesn't rely on a bullet drop reticle that may or may not work with your set up.
The glass is perfect. But the biggest selling point is the lack of batteries and a reticle that is daytime BRIGHT. No offence to the scopes mentioned above, but none are suitable for a sunny day. Furthermore, the illuminated centre dot is less than 1moa, so accuracy isn't an issue. The dot gets awfully bright and big on a really sunny day, but can be dialed down to nothing with the twist of the fibre optic shield.
The turrets are capped, which I prefer. The only thing I didn't LOVE was the turret feel. They felt a bit on the mushy side, but I've been spoiled with Schmidt and Bender.
It's a bit pricey compared to the others mentioned, but I believe is is head and shoulders above everything else. Why did I sell it? Because I'm an idiot. I am looking to probably buy another, but the new Trijicon Accupower 1-8x has given me pause. Not because I think that the Accupower is better, but because I'm hypothesizing that there may be a 1-8x Accupoint in the works. And the only thing better than a 1-6x Accupoint is a 1-8x Accupoint.
