So I know the 1911s are popular. But I am wondering about the other offerings. Specifically, the Sig 226/228 clones, and the CZ clones. (If there are other similar Norinco's I'd be interested in them too, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.)

The info I am looking for is as follows:

What do you like/dislike about it?
Parts interchangeability with the real deal? (What fits, what doesn't)
Comparison to the real deal (Fit/finish will be worse obviously, but what about other things like sights, trigger pull, magazines... Im sure theres other things I can't think of right now)

Thanks!

I own real 1911s, CZs and SIGs. I also have the Norc clones of them.

The Norcs got trigger jobs, grips and sights and shoot and feel just as good as the real deal.

The CZs seem to be the best. They have excellent triggers (after a tune up.)

Was impressed with my np-22... grips weren't great ...fixed that...everything else on mine ran flawlessly...

I like my np22, changed the grips and plan on doing a trigger job.
Picked up some 226 mags and only had to modify 2 out of 3 to function properly.
Only had it out a couple times so far though.

No sharp edges on the 3 I have? The worst Norc I owned for sharp edges was the NP-18 FEG clone. U could shave with the slide on that one.

Really? My brother got stitches from the rear sight on my old one and my wife just about did from the front of the magwell, maybe it was just mine then.

Wow didn't expect so much m93 love. Do they make them anymore (i don't think so?)?

I'm not looking for a 22lr now though. I want a 9mm that can be used for gun games. My FMK 9C1 is verboten in ipsc production division for no good reason, so I was kinda using that as my goal for the next gun. Will need a 22 soon though, so I'll add to m93 to my list when that comes.

So how you guys liking those 9mm clones? Lol
