How much pitting in the bores? Is there a varnish over the checkering?

It does look like it was varnished at some point , the left barrel is very brite no issues . The rt barrel has pitting in front of the shell chamber

Well, it depends on how deep the pitting is. But with a refinish, worn checkering, some marred screws, pitting, and likely short chambers, I'm guessing around the $400.00 mark in Canada. Others may disagree.

I have shot it only to try, works like it should. It is heavy aprox 10-12 lbs

We were at a gun show last year. My bubby bought the same gun in much better condition. We took it out and each fired 100 rounds through it. He paid $500 for it.

Those 100 rounds were 10 ga ? or 12 ga ?
100 rounds of 12 ga would hurt ...100 rounds of 10 ga , even 50 would hurt for days - headache included.

My sxs 10 ga is not a hammer gun but 100 rnds a day is no problem. The weight makes them easier to shoot.
Chokes and chamber length are important. If it were full and full and short chambered $300-350. If 3.5" chambers it may go $400

Agree. This is why I stopped responding to such threads. At the end of the day, if one cant figure out how to use the google machine or fork up a few bucks to get the info from a book of gun values, then I dont have time for that nonsense

My thoughts exactly. We share information freely for both the OP of threads and others who come later with the same questions.

All these "help with valuation" threads should be stopped. Just like no more "selling for a friend".
Any true "gunnut" should be able to come up with his/her own numbers.
