What's on your "Do not sell until I'm dead" list?

I think this HVA Dahlberg 6.5x55 will be with me for a while. Shoots like a laser and very comfortable to carry and shoulder.

This odd 1975 Win M70 in 222 when they were only making long actions is another keeper too... Way too big an action for such a tiny round.

Both of my 4 digit serial number model 94's 38-55's
My model 94 Belgian Congo
My Remington Heburn 45-70
Ruger #1 35 Whelen.
Winchester model 95 .405 win

Plenty others I'm extremely fond of but if the right offer came along and I had my eye on something else I could let them go. The above list, at least for now, is off limits.

For me it is my Grandfather's mongrel model 94... receiver is a 5 digit SN that he had refinished with 50's era barrel/wood in 30WCF back in the day. That one will never leave- not worth much money but irreplaceable.

On my list I have two rifles my West German manufacture Weatherby Mark V chambered in 300 Weatherby and a Sako AV Deluxe in 375 H&H. I also have two shotguns one being a Belgian manufacture Browning Auto Five Sweet Sixteen(have two actually other isn't as nice) and my Browning Citori 16 ga.

The Weatherby and Citori were gifts from family over the years. The Sweet Sixteen was offered to me at an unbelievable price by my mentor for everything outdoors and the Sako was earned with blood and sweat. I had just graduated high school and had a urge for a "fancier" rifle and washed combines after hours at a local John Deere dealer to earn the money to buy it. It was well worth it. These reasons make these pieces very important to me.

Top three items I won't sell and will be handed down when I pass:

12" Barrel Henry Big Boy 44 Mag.... Super compact, easy to carry and a blast to shoot.

And these two...

Give me a break... should I start listing my motorcycles???

I really do appreciate a nice watch...... but having one is like a signature...... and I have yet to find my signature.... and I don't flaunt them...

If you have two, you have one too many....... time to dummy up as looky wouid say......

The only gun that will stay in the family till im dead will be the wife's grandfathers Enfield from ww2, all the rest can and most likely will come and go.

All my firearms, I sold off everything in the early 2000's as we were thinking of retiring in Panama and I had a chance to 'clear everything' with a buyer from the Kamloops gun show. Without thinking I lost my 12(5) when I sold my L1A1, oh well. Since building up my current stuff, nothing fancy just all useful, and with getting on in years, I decided the kids can figure it out when I go to that great range in the nethers :).

Nothing really other than my first 2 rifles, a beautiful savage MkII BV before they cheaped out and my '42 Maltby Enfield. Taught myself to shoot on the Savage and learned to reload and shoot centrefire with the Enfield.

Between those two I had the most fun shooting at the range and thinking of that has made me decide to start paring down the collection to just a few guns I will actually shoot regularly rather than a bunch I just look at.

Maybe if I get a 375H&H that would be a keeper after I sell a bunch of my stuff but that may be a while.
