Or even better, 2' by 2' gong, with a center 4" circle punched out. So I can setup a small plate behind it. Then I can tell by sound alone if it is a hit on the 4" or not.

affordable dueling tree kit- ie just a cheap pack of paddles to weld together yourself, in the states these go for 80$,
pack of 3/8 or 1/5 silhouete targets, in packs of 4 with one of each or packs of 5 of each for bulk deal.
also a half sized IPSC target would be nice

11.5 inch square, 0.5 in thick with a long slot hole in the top middle to hang it by a 4 inch fire hose belt chunk.

This size should let you maximize your units per sheet and cover a wide range of shooting activities.
