Also - the Primary Arms Paralow HS503G Red Dot Sight - ACSS Reticle

Primary Arms and Holosun have combined forces to bring you the power of the patent pending ACSS® CQB reticle in a red dot sight for the first time! The problem with dot sights is that a large dot is great up close but less useful at distances beyond 100 yards, because the dot becomes too large to aim with precision. A small dot used in conjunction with a magnifier fixes that problem, but is slower to acquire in close range snap shooting. The ACSS reticle uses a large chevron that the eye picks up very easily for up close shooting. At longer distances, the tip of the chevron is an infinitely small aiming point perfect for taking precise shots.

The ACSS features three BDC dots underneath the chevron, allowing an unprecedented 600 yards of bullet drop compensation in 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO calibers. Auto ranging and wind leads are also incorporated into this smart reticle. A CQB horseshoe grabs the eye instantly for close quarters shooting and also approximates the spread pattern of 00 buckshot at 25 yards. The retical for this sight is a central 2 MOA dot, centered in a 65 MOA circle with four positioning points. The diameter of the circle reticle represents approximately 5'5" at 100 yards 170cm at 100m.

The HS503G is a proven micro dot sight with an auto-on function that switches on the power with a slight movement of the sight. It comes with a 1913 Picatinny base which is removable, revealing an Aimpoint Micro-compatible base underneath. It also comes with the lower 1/3rd co-witness riser mount shown in the photos.

Features: Primary Arms Exclusive! This is the only place to get Bullet Drop Compensation to 600 yards, wind holds and auto ranging all in a night vision compatible micro red dot!

Using "zero" ranges of 25, 50, or 100 yards, the ACSS BDC is compatible with the following calibers:

5.56 NATO / 5.45x39 from 100 to 600 yards
300 BLK / 7.62x39 from 50 to 450 yards
12 gauge 1 oz. slug from 25 to 150 yards
7.62x54R from 100 to 600 yards
7.62 NATO / .308 Win from 100 to 600 yards
300 BLK 220 gr subsonic from 50 to 150 yards
.22LR 40 gr from 50 to 175 yards
9mm carbine 115gr from 25 to 200 yards

Why is the "Primary Arms Paralow HS503G Red Dot Sight - ACSS Reticle" $450 when it is $220 in the USA?

Your other Primary Arms products are a lot closer to the exchange price. This has a $50 USD difference that results in a $190 CAD difference in price?

Ditto. Would buy it if the price was more reasonable. This is approaching Aimpoint pricing and it ain't no Aimpoint .

Wondering what the warranty for these is like in Canada. They are basically Holosun red dots rebranded.
The ACSS reticle is a beautiful touch though. I am curious to know how crowded the markings are considering it is not magnified at all.

We do not get any discounting from Primary Arms nor Holosun on this product.

The ACSS reticle is visible at 1x non magnified, but a magnifier is HIGHLY recommended to take full advantage of the ACSS BDC.

When is the next shipment for the "Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot with Push Buttons and up to 50K-Hour Battery Life" expected?

You stock the Advanced Micro Dot 50k for $259.99 CAD and it retails for $169.99 USD. You stock the ACSS red dot retail for $449.99 CAD and it retails for $219.99 USD.

Why does one optic have a $90 markup and the other have a $230 markup?

i have the PA RDS with the ACSS reticle and it is a great piece of kit. Definitely needs a magnifier to really shine though.

That being said, and word as to when you will receive the PA 1-8x Platinum scope with ACSS reticle?

Wow I was really looking forward to this, but in my experience with existing holosun products, they're not worth this price. Thanks for giving us the option though.

What's your experience? I have 2 Holosun red dots that have literally had the schit kicked out of them and still perform.

Similar to Edward O .. 515C is decent for it's old prices. I've also had the electronics glitch a few times and mysteriously turn off (actually on several occasions, in dry fire and on rang). At this point it's not an optic I trust, and certainly not for current price points.

Interesting. I doubt I would be keen on taking a Holosun into a combat situation simply because of my own piece of mind bias, and one of them has a battery installed under the optic, so it needs removal to change.... but for most people- that shoot at the range- I have no problem recommending one.

And that's because the ones I've used have been systematically abused, for lack of a better term. I doubt most shooters would treat their gear like the way these things get treated, yet they keep on ticking....
